AIR MALTA WINS 2018 TRIPADVISOR TRAVELERS’ CHOICE AWARDS FOR AIRLINES

Air Malta announced it has been recognised as a winner in the 2018 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice™ awards for Airlines – Europe in the Regional Airline category. TripAdvisor has highlighted the world’s top carriers based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for airlines worldwide gathered over a 12-month period.

Commenting on this achievement, Dr Charles Mangion Chairman of Air Malta stated, “This is great news for Air Malta.  We are really proud of this achievement and are working hard to continue improving our standards. This results is based on unbiased reviews and our passenger experiences whilst travelling on Air Malta.  This award reflects the company’s commitment to deliver a great travel experience for our guests even when faced with challenging situations. Minister for Tourism Dr Konrad Mizzi added, “This award comes at a particular important time for Air Malta when it has embarked on a growth strategy. This year alone the Airline will operate over 4,000 more flights over last year. In the last few months the airline has announced a total of 14 new destinations and three new intra-European flights. The new routes are not only making Malta more accessible and helping establish Air Malta as ‘The Airline of the Mediterranean’, but are supporting its growth strategy.”
