Air Malta has a fleet of eight aircraft made up of A-319s and A-320s, manufactured by Airbus.

The operational safety of our fleet is paramount.  Our engineering team sets high standards and ensures that all our maintenance works exceed the exacting standards and procedures set by the manufacturers and regulatory authorities.

Our first priority and our commitment to customers is always to put safety first, both on the ground and in-flight.

We are in the process of rolling out a Safety Management System, which forms part of a European Commission initiative designed to encompass all aspects of airline safety. For example, the occupational health and safety of our staff falls within the remit of SMS.

Delivering a safe operation demands continuous excellence on the part of our engineering and flight operations staff, combined with an open safety culture and close attention to detail.
