The event sees an exciting collaboration with Creamfields and BBC Radio 1 Dance UK. The house duo, The Martinez Brothers, will kick off the star-studded event on the 11th of August with a performance in partnership with well-known Maltese clubbing brand GRINGOS.

Meanwhile, the main events will take place over the 14th-15th August at the Ta’ Qali National Park - which saw chart-topper Rita Ora wow the crowds last year - with underground legends in the form of Paul Kalkbrenner, Loco Dice, Green Velvet, BBC Radio 1’s Monki and local favourite Carl Bee all announced on the bill.

The following day (the 15th of August) sees the line-up turn towards more pop-based acts, with the likes of superstar DJ David Guetta, who has sold over 30 million singles worldwide and has been voted the world’s best DJ year after year with classic club tunes such as ‘Where them Girls at’, ‘She Wolf’, ‘Titanium’ and ‘Dangerous’.

The event will also feature Tyga, James Arthur, Danny Howard, Alle Farben, Maltese top DJ Tenishia and a plethora of locally renowned artists all making an appearance. Grab your sun cream and make sure you are wearing some comfortable shoes as it will be impossible to sit still with this exciting line-up!

The following day on the 16th of August, Christian ‘Bobo’ Vieri, the former Italian international striker, will be cranking out the tunes at a sunset pool party at the MedAsia beach club in Sliema, while there is also a Vida Loca showcase at the island’s UNO nightclub.

To close off, Summer Daze will return to UNO clubbing village, with house music legend Roger Sanchez set to headline alongside Miami-based DJ Kristen Knight, for an unforgettable night in association with ZIGGY.

The Minister for Tourism, Konrad Mizzi, said Summer Daze is expected to be the most sought-after event by Maltese and foreign youths this summer. He said different niches are being attracted to the festival, with Summer Daze proving to be a great success last year and 64% of those who attended were non-Maltese. This year’s event will be spread over a whole week and has been advertised outside Malta.
