Air Malta announced this week that it would be limiting its onboard inflight service as from today (Friday 13th March). This measure was taken to contain the spread of the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic. This reduced inflight service will be offered until further notice.

If you are flying business class, you will be served in a one tray service, in disposable items together with a complimentary water bottle. The Economy Class’ Buy-On- Board service will not be available.

The Airline is continuously in touch with various Authorities and is closely monitoring the evolving situation. It will announce further changes as the need arises.

Air Malta will be keeping its customers updated through its website and social media channels, including Facebook.

Locally in Malta, other companies such as Public Transport Malta have introduced measures to contain the spread of the Coronavirus which included asking customers to provide the exact change when purchasing a cash ticket on the bus. In addition, many food delivery companies have also switched to contactless only payments.
