Christmas is just around the corner and whilst the temperatures are slowly getting colder in Malta, it is right about time to start planning what to do over the festive period. If you’ll be spending your Christmas holidays in Malta this year, you should make time to attend a pantomime to ensure you are well and truly in the Christmas spirit. Discover what’s on this year!
The pantomime tradition in Malta
The annual pantomime is a Christmas highlight in Malta where both children and adults enjoy great shows that take place at Manoel Theatre or MFCC. Every year pantomimes tell classic stories that everyone is familiar with, combining the best scripts and costume designs with a contemporary and humorous twist. Each pantomime season, local people and visitors from all over the world book to fulfill their Christmas holidays’ expectations.
