However please remember that a child under 2 years of age is not entitled to a seat on the aircraft and is classified as an Infant. Also, please ensure that the immediate needs for the infant are carried as hand baggage and are readily available.

Q - What are Air Malta’s requirements for health and well-being during travel?

A - We must ensure that all passengers accepted on board our aircraft are in a good state of health. Passengers suffering from certain medical conditions are required to obtain a certificate allowing them to fly, available from our medical doctor. A - It depends on the type of medical condition from which you are suffering. Some conditions will necessitate a Medical Certificate, stating that you are fit to travel. The Medical Help Desk can be contacted on Tel : +356 22999296, or e-mail.

A - Yes, you can travel on our flights if you are pregnant.

If you are within 28 to 35 weeks of pregnancy you will require a certificate from your medical consultant stating that you are fit enough to fly.
