Air Malta follows the standard recruitment process of all Maltese public companies, which makes sure that all appointments are considered transparently and fairly on the basis of merit. Here’s a general overview of our recruitment process:
- When a new position becomes available or a previous position is vacant, Air Malta releases an internal call for applications to identify a suitable candidate within the company.
- If the position isn’t filled, Air Malta registers the position with the ETC (Employment and Training Corporation) which promotes the vacancy to its database of jobseekers.
- The final channel includes promoting the vacancy online, via newspapers and through a number of trusted recruitment agencies.
Once prospective applicants are identified through one of the above procedures, interviews are held at which the applicant meets a member from the human resources team as well as the relevant department and section managers.
