Jazz nights at the Bridge Bar

Bridge Bar Jazz Sessions 2013

​For years, the Bridge Bar in Valletta has established for itself a reputation, bringing to the island, some of the finest jazz nights to the local scene.

Jazz sessions will resume once again this year on the majestic steps of St Ursola Street, near Victoria Gate, Valletta. Due to kick off on May 10th, the Bridge Bar Jazz sessions will run every Friday up until October.

With the Grand Harbour as a backdrop and only a few steps away from the internationally renowned Malta Jazz Festival, the Birdge Bar Jazz sessions have been drawing jazz lovers from all over Europe. This year’s programmes boasts a lineup of well known jazz musicians including Lawrie Simpson, Effie
Azzopardi and Eric Santucci, Mario Aquilina, Dominic Galea, Jes Psaila, Adrian Brincat, il-‘Bibi’ Camilleri, Manuel Pulis and Ben Galea. The schedule will also include a Malta Jazz Festival Special on July 17.

Combining a magical atmosphere together with the grandeur of Valletta will make your Fridays memorable. Situated right on the bridge in one of the most idyllic locations in Valletta close to Victoria Gate, the Bridge Bar has become a staple favourite with locals for its weekly schedule of both Maltese
and international musicians.
