Lufthansa Technik Malta

Lufthansa Technik Malta is a joint venture which has been set-up between Lufthansa Technik AG (75%) and Air Malta plc (25%).

Lufthansa Technik Malta performs ‘C’ checks and modification work on the Boeing 737 series and A320 family for both Deutsche Lufthansa and Air Malta, as well as other third party customers. Operations have commenced in January 2003.

Lufthansa Technik Malta is now a member of Lufthansa Technik’s existing worldwide MRO network.

Sabratha

Sabratha Duty Free Co. Ltd., is a limited liability company registered in Malta. 50% of the company is owned by Air Malta plc., whereas the other 50% is equally shared between Gebr Heinemann, Salvo Grima Group and Faber National Projects.

Sabratha has been entrusted by the Tripoli International Airport Authorities to exclusively run the duty free concessions in the Passenger areas of Tripoli International Airport. At this airport Sabratha runs a duty free shop in the Departures Lounge and another duty free shop in the Arrivals area. Both shops retail most leading brands in Jewellery, Tobacco, Perfumes, Cosmetics, Electronics, Confectionery, and travel retail.

World Aviation Group is owned jointly by Air Malta plc and Cassar Aviation Services Pty Ltd of Australia.

Formed around 20 years ago, the Group started operating as a General Sales Agency (GSA) under the name of World Aviation Services Ltd (WAS) with the mission of representing British Airways and other airlines in Malta.
This activity has now been expanded to represent airlines in various other countries through the creation of a GSA franchise network operating in various parts of Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Libya, Cyprus, Israel, Spain and Hungary. This activity is being represented by Aviation On Line.

The Group has grown adding a customer contact and support centre to its portfolio in 2006.  Centrecom Ltd is an integrated contact centre provider of quality operation staffed by a multilingual team. In late 2007 BPO Services Ltd. was set up. BPO acts as a single point of referral for all back-office process operations with specialized skills in revenue accounting.

We also provide professional services including amongst others customer service strategy definition, assessment and business case justification, process definition, performance management and training development.

Centrecom Limited is an international multi-lingual call centre providing services in various international languages including English, Maltese, Italian, German, French, Flemish, Danish, Russian and Arabic.  Its operations commenced on 3 September 2006.  Centrecom’s first client is Air Malta but the Company’s vision is to expand its operations with services being provided to a portfolio of new premium clients.

Centrecom is equipped with the latest expandable AVAYA technology which will meet the future business requirements of this business activity.
